Engraved with the names of a fraction of those arrested during Iran’s ongoing revolution, these bricks represent the strength of the activists who are currently risking their lives, inside and outside prisons, to fight oppression. This installation is an homage to political prisoners and all those paving the way to revolution in Iran.

Protests spanning across 146 cities have rapidly turned into Iran’s first ever feminist-led revolutionary movement. Since 16 September 2022, over 18,000 people have been arrested, a figure which includes children.
