Bricks of Revolution is a public installation composed of engraved bricks bearing the names of a fraction of those arrested during Iran’s “Woman, Life, Freedom” uprising. The work honors political prisoners and activists who risk their lives, both inside and outside prison, to resist oppression.

Installed following the protests sparked by the killing of Mahsa Jina Amini in September 2022, the work pays tribute to Iran’s feminist-led revolutionary movement and the collective struggle for freedom and justice.
